Accessible English
Learning a language can be very expensive and we recognize this. Therefore we aim to provide English classes that are different to the usual class. With the help of existing and new volunteers we will be able to deliver a 'basic level' of English for free, to Thai residents up to the age of 25, both on site and out in the community.
The English Language program will run at Samui ideashop *most days, giving people a chance to access this program and benefit from it. Although it will be possible to 'drop-in', we aim to support a team of volunteers who will go out into the community, accessing those not usually accessed due to their location and cost.
If you or your child can benefit from learning the basics of the English language, but cant afford the cost of lessons, come along and get the basics for free! If you are a language teacher with some free time who wants to give back to the community, get in contact with us and join a great team all sharing the pation to help others and if you know someone who would benefit from this Program pleae let them know.

Urban Art Hangout
Growing up on an island with dual nationality is great but if there is nothing to do and knowhaere to go after school it is'nt so great. Why not leave the virtual world and create your very own hang-out along with many other young people?
Add your personal touch to a place where you and your friends can meet, create, learn, hold parties, events, bring and buy's and much much more!
Create workshops and Focus groups for fashion shows to auditions for talent contests. Practice your singing, art or dj'ing skills in your very own studio.
Whether you have an idea or even if you dont, you may just find something that interests you and changes the life of someone else.

Become A Mentor
If you think you have enough free time and a little experince or a skill or trade in something you would like to pass along, join Samui ideashop and share what you know with others.
As a Mentor you will be part of our existing team of like-minded people all wanting to help others. You will have access to our shop space and studio to help you. Working with volunteers at the shop can be hungry work, so enjoy a free delicious Thai meal if you ever find yourself getting hungry.
You will also recieve full ideashop membership, including discounts and more!

Mentoring Programs
In the very near future we aim to create Mentoring Programs to assist locals with such things as budgeting and finance, education, employment and personal wellbeing. There will be a 'drop-in' allowing people to leave a query which could be addressed at the following group meeting.
The program will support individuals with the help of volunteers who will give their time to hold Groups and Focus Meetings to help educate and support various needs. If you think you could offer your time and skills to help someone please contact us today.
